For the second time in just over twelve hours the Alphas were called to reports of a dwelling fire.

State College Borough crews came across a working fire on the 500 Block
of East Beaver Avenue at approximately 0645. 595 (Kuchmay) arrived to
find a 3 story dwelling with fire showing from all sides of division 3
with reports of one occupant unaccounted for. Crews made had a quick
knockdown of the fire using Truck 517's Master stream and then used
several hand lines for mop up. One male victim was located. Crews
worked through the morning allowing for a detailed investigation.
Units
operating were Engines 510, 512, 513, 514, Trucks 517 and 216, Rescue
518, Fire Police from Co. 5 and 3, EMS from Centre Lifelink and the
county mobile command vehicle. The Centre Region was covered by Engines
810, 212 and Rescue 318 during this incident.!
