911 reported calls advsing of injuries and smoke showing. 591 (DeArmitt) responded and was flagged down at Viaro Blvd. and Waddle Rd. by the paitent who was being transported to the hospital by personal vehicle. EMS met shortly with 591 and advised the paitent had suffered from numerous burns and recommended Lifeflight Transport. 591 passed command to E512 and had E512 and R518 respond to the scene. E514 was diverted to landing zone operations.

Crews from E512 and R518 found an extinguished grease fire and performed Positive Pressure Ventalation and an investigation with the Thermal Imaging Camera. E512 and R518 were later assisted by crews from E511.

E514 and fire police established a landing zone on nearby Highway 322 and sucessfully landed and transported the paitent.

Units responding were 500, 591, E511, E512, E514, R518 and FP536.
