This morning at 10:00 hrs. a ceremony was held on the front ramp of the main station to remember our fallen brothers. hpim1027

About 20 members attended the ceremony that lasted approximately 30 mins.  During the ceremony the names of all 343 FDNY firefighters that gave the ultimate sacrfice were read.  The ringing of 5-5-5-5, which indicates a firefighter line of duty death, was rung twice- once as each tower of the World Trade Center fell.  The ceremony was conducted by Captain N. Kuchmay.

In addition to this morning's ceremony some students opted to wear their dress uniforms throughout the day as they attended class at Penn State.
