This afternoon and evening the Alpha Fire Company and Boalsburg Fire
Company got together for a family picnic and to play a little softball.

Two games were played. In the first game the Alpha's were down 10-3 but
were able to make a rally with a 14 run 4th inning to come away with
the win over Boalsburg, final score 21-10. The second game was a
different story and the Alpha's were unable to come away with a win and
lost 43-9.
Fun was had by all in attendance. The Alpha's and Boalsburg
have played the past two years now, and the Alpha's have a 1-2 record.
Thank you to Hess Field for the use of the field, letting us play under
the lights, and supplying us with umpires.
