Freguson township police are still investigating the
accident, but it is believed that a vehicle went through the intersection at Blue Course
and Martin, drove over a curb and through a small grass lawn. The vehicle first hit the front bumper of the
first car, causing minor damage. The striking
vehicle then continued across the parking lot and struck another car, forcing it
into the structure. This caused several
feet of intrusion directly at the foot of the bed that the apartment occupants
were sleeping in. The striking vehicle
then hit a fourth car before coming to rest.
Building occupants narrowly escaped serious injury and were
examined by crews from Centre Life Link EMS.
Crews operated on scene for about 30 minutes.
