The Alphas participated in the annual Patton Township Safety Fair
giving bucket rides in Truck 516, explinations of fire service tools
and fire safety, along with presentations by the Fire Police on FP536.
The event also included extrication demonstrations from the Port
Matilda Fire Co. (Station 15), the LifeFlight Helicopter, the State
College Police Canine Unit, Centre Region Code Enforement's Fire Safety
trailer and Law Enforcement agencies from throughout the Centre Region.
There were long lines throughout the day for bucket rides and many
people enjoyed Truck 516.
